Southwest National Parks Photos

My photos from our recent trips to National Parks and Monuments in Colorado and Utah are now online at http://www.crazyabouttravel.com/ For the photographers almost all of these photos were taken at sunrise or sunset (the Golden Hours).  All of the landscape shots were taken on a tripod.  All were taken at f22 in order to achieve the best depth of field.  Most were taken at ISO 400.

We traveled with Sally, our 10 year old shih tzu on this 6,000 mile driving trip.  Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed on the trails in the National Parks.  As a matter of fact, dogs are not allowed off of the paved areas.  That is a real bummer.  In Springdale, Utah at the entrance to Zion National Park few hotels will accept dogs.  The hotel that we stayed at would not permit a guest to leave their hotel room without their dog.  We were told that they would call Animal Control if they found a dog in the room.  This is the type of place that should just not accept dogs!

All of the Parks that we visited were great...Bryce Canyon, Zion, Rocky Mountain National Park and the Colorado National Monument.  All offered different wildlife and unique landscapes.
